About How to Take Screenshot on iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
The pressure-sensitive Home button powered by taptic engine works pretty effectively on the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Case in point, it allows you to take screenshots on your iPhone 7/7 Plus as easily as ever before.
The method of capturing screenshot on the iPhone 7 still requires the combination of Home and ON/OFF buttons. Though the process is same, the feeling is slightly different. More after the jump:
How to Take Screenshot on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
Step #1. First up, you need to make sure the screen you want to capture. Simply launch any app you wish to screenshot and head over to the screen you wish to capture.
Step #2. Next up, you will have to press and hold the Power button located on the right side of your iPhone and click the Home button at the same time. (It will prevent the activation of Touch ID or Siri by accident.)
Step #3. Next up, the screen of your iPhone will flash white. You will also hear the camera shutter sound.
That’s it! You have taken the screenshot.
How to Access and Edit the Screenshot on iPhone 7/7:
Just like before, all your screenshots will be saved to your All Photos album (or Camera Roll in case you are not using iCloud Photo Library).
Step #1. Launch the Photos app on your iPhone.
Step #2. Next, you need to scroll down to the bottom to find your screenshot in your All Photos or Camera Roll.
Step #3. Tap to view, favorite, edit, or share it as usual.
When I came to know that Apple’s flagship smartphones of 2016 are going to have a pressure-sensitive Home button, I was curious to know how it would work and whether it’d be as functional as the physical Home button. But once I spent some time with the virtual Home button, I was quite impressed with it.
